Living by the sea or floating, high above it, has been a dream cherished by generations of Venezuelans. For them, having miles of sea at their fingertips has always been at the top of any wish list. This does not mean, however, that each house on or in front of the beach does not contain its own mood and characteristics.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Spacious and bright design caters for the whole family<\/span><\/span><\/h2>

In the case of this apartment, designed by Fernanda Marques to serve a Venezuelan family of six members in Miami, the emphasis was on two elements: lightness and sophistication. The family room, for example, in addition to having plenty of space to accommodate children’s games, also received a small kitchen to entertain adults. The couple’s bathroom, with its markedly minimalist approach, has the fresh and tropical touch of a green wall, right next to the bathtub.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Art and design. Two inseparable elements of the Brazilian architect’s work are also well represented through a balanced combination of works by Jesus Soto, Leon Ferrari and Olafur Eliasson and iconic furniture designed by Sergio Rodrigues, Joaquim Tenreiro and Jorge Zalszupin and made, above all, in wood. Material, in fact, that sets the tone for the entire interior project, appearing strongly in the internal corridor, in the form of two sinuous slatted partitions, with a sculptural profile, designed by the architect.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

As it is an apartment where so many works play a referential role, it is not surprising that the lighting was designed with the primary objective of providing good viewing conditions, at any time of the day or night.
