The Fernanda Marques Style

Fernanda Marques’ work is defined by a minimalist and refined aesthetic. Iconic Projects

Among many remarkable projects, Loft 24/7 deserves special mention. After the success of the 2008 Casa Cor edition, Fernanda presented an even bolder version in 2009. Loft 24/7 is a spacious single-story residence of approximately 250m², where nature plays a starring role. The project makes extensive use of natural light, combining raw materials with a fully open connection to the outdoors.

“Being inside, feeling outside. I believe this is a key concept for understanding interior architecture today. It’s a time of expanding environmental awareness and a desire to be close to nature,” explains Fernanda. Her project sits somewhere between a country village and a modernist home inspired by Mies van der Rohe, one of her masters.

Blending rough stone walls and limestone flooring, the bold space also incorporates steel and glass, creating an atmosphere of spatial continuity—another signature of Fernanda’s designs. The loft includes 180m² of built area, connected by a wooden deck that extends the home’s boundaries. Glass walls and ceilings ensure full visual integration between interior and exterior.

The all-white interiors are equally impressive, with furniture crafted from sustainable materials. The kitchen, for instance, features a steel panel that extends up to the roof, while a monolithic stone countertop lends a rustic feel to space.

In the living area, cabinets and shelves showcase special design pieces. Among them are glass objects by American artist Jeff Zimmerman, who brought his creations to Brazil at Fernanda’s invitation. Selected accessories from antique dealer Beto Altílio add personality to the environment. Furniture by Florense, finished in high gloss with automated drawers, brings a touch of modernity and convenience.

Sustainability and Technology

Fernanda Marques’ studio also stands out for its integration of sustainability into its projects. Conscious use of materials, the pursuit of energy efficiency, and a strong connection with nature are fundamental pillars. For Fernanda, a project should go beyond aesthetics—it should also be sustainable and functional.

Technology is another key ally. The use of 3D design tools, augmented reality, and advanced architectural software allows clients to precisely visualize their projects even before construction begins. This not only optimizes the creative process but also provides greater security and predictability.

International Recognition

With a diverse and acclaimed portfolio, Fernanda Marques has earned a prominent place on the international scene. Her consistent presence at international events reinforces the influence of her work and her commitment to innovation. Each project signed by Fernanda is a statement of her vision and unique style.
