Renowned for the contemporary minimalism that defines her work in architecture and design, architect Fernanda Marques never considered creating a jewelry collection that wasn’t, at the very least, formally striking and conceptually bold. That intent is clear in her latest line, just launched in collaboration with Grifith.

“I prefer to think that wearing a piece of jewelry inevitably puts you in the spotlight — and naturally, that’s a good thing. To be present, to make yourself seen, is part of the story of jewelry,” says Fernanda, who allowed herself a rare sense of exuberance and organic form in the design of her first collection.

Jewelry pieces from the Fernanda Marques Collection for Grifith blend architecture and luxury with silver, rose gold, and leather in organic and sophisticated designs.

“I agree — there’s definitely something organic about the collection. But I also see a hidden rationality, much like what you find in nature,” reveals Fernanda, who considers the human body the ideal canvas.
“I tried, as much as possible, to bring movement into each piece. That’s especially true of the choker.”

This debut collection, crafted in natural silver with an aged finish, rose gold plating, and leather accents, includes four pieces: a choker, ring, bracelet, and earrings — all soon to be available at Griffith stores.
“Everything I do involves such deep dedication that I end up falling in love with the process. And that inevitably makes me think about what comes next. So yes, there are definitely more collections on the way,” she adds.
